PAOLO BROVEDANI

CHIEF OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT, ROYAL ENFIELD

Paolo is the Chief of Product Development at Royal Enfield. Paolo joined Royal Enfield in December 2020 and leads the product development function including the EV portfolio to deliver new and exciting models for the company’s future growth.

With more than three decades of experience in the motorcycle and luxury fashion industry, Paolo has worked across companies in areas of product design and engineering along with demonstrated success in supply chain management and operations.

In his last role as the R&D Director at Peugeot Motorcycles, he was responsible for research and development efforts across global offices in France, Italy and China. Paolo was in charge of developing all vehicles and engines including Electric Vehicles (EV) with a responsibility to bring all new models to the Start of Production (SOP) as per agreed targets of performance, quality, costs and time. In his earlier career, Paolo has also worked with the Safilo Group,Husqvarna Motorcycles (Erstwhile BMW Group), Pianca S.p.A and Aprilia /Moto Guzzi /Laverda Group.

With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Padova University, Paolo is also a qualified Italian RSPP (Safety manager). On the personal side, his interests revolve around skiing, motorcycling, swimming, and sea sports. In the past, he has been a member of the Italian Young National Ski Team and of the Italian University Ski Team. Passionate about sea sports, Paolo obtained the Italian license for sailing and motorboat command in 2004 and the CMAS International certificate for diving in 2012. He has also raced in the motorcycle enduro regional championship and won in the 175cc category in 1981.
