Pradeep Mathew

CHIEF OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Pradeep serves as the Chief of Product Development at Royal Enfield, leading the Product Development function across the company’s India and UK Technology Centres. He is responsible for engineering and product development across Royal Enfield’s existing internal combustion engine motorcycle portfolio, while also steering the development of future platforms.

A veteran of the organisation with over 22 years of experience, Pradeep joined Royal Enfield as a Post Graduate Engineer Trainee (PGET) in 2004. Over the course of his career, he has held several leadership positions across the Product Development function. He also undertook a cross-functional assignment as Program Head, where he successfully led the development of the Himalayan 411.

In his current role, Pradeep oversees advanced engineering initiatives and future mobility technologies, including connected vehicle systems, flex-fuel powertrains, and the company’s readiness for future regulations. He also plays a key role in supporting Royal Enfield’s electric vehicle development efforts by leveraging and integrating expertise across core functions such as vehicle development, testing, and homologation.

With more than a decade of experience in strategic leadership roles, Pradeep brings deep technical expertise and a strong understanding of emerging mobility technologies, helping shape Royal Enfield’s future product and technology roadmap. He holds an M.E. in Mechanical Engineering from PSG Institute of Technology, Coimbatore.
